Since the 17th century
Vassallo Castle, located in the San Giovanni district of Stella Cilento, is a historic building known for its strategic position overlooking and protecting the town.
Inside, the palace preserves fascinating frescoes and stucco decorations that testify to its historical importance. Thanks to its strategic location, Vassallo Castle became a privileged residence for feudal lords from the 17th century onwards. Originally owned by the Ventimiglia family, in the 18th century it passed to the Vassallo family, from whom it takes its name.

In 2015, he arrived in Albania, founding the Popular University of Taste, which aims to foster intercultural and food and wine exchange. Impressed by the stunning landscapes of the Albanian coast, he created a resort called Olimpus Arteventi, overlooking the sea, a dream location for weddings and receptions. In 2018, he left for the United States, where he opened two restaurants in Pennsylvania, where he transferred all his expertise and his "Italian flair" for the culinary arts.
Today, the Precenzano Group, based in Campania, manages a sumptuous historic residence: the Relais Castello Vassallo, a refined, atmospheric retreat nestled in the splendid Cilento National Park. It strives to showcase the Campania region through its traditional wellness cuisine.
